Low-Volume Trial Production

SHIYUNJIA provides low-volume plastic injection molding for design verification, engineering changes, new material or color trials, assembly checks, and pre-production validation. With 10 injection molding machines from 120T to 450T, approved projects can continue from trial production to volume production under confirmed quality, packing, and delivery requirements.

Suitable Applications

Low-volume trial production helps confirm the product, mold, material, process, inspection method, and packing requirements before scale-up.

Design verification after initial samples
Engineering-change validation
New material or color trials
Appearance, dimension, and assembly checks
Low-volume batches before production launch
Continued volume production after approval

What We Confirm Before Production

Before a trial run begins, our team confirms the purpose of the run, drawing and sample revision, material and color, target quantity, critical dimensions, appearance and assembly requirements, inspection points, packing, and schedule.

Customer-supplied molds are accepted after inspection and machine compatibility review.

Trial Production Workflow

  1. Review approved data, trial objective, and quantity
  2. Confirm mold, material, color, and inspection requirements
  3. Set up the molding process and produce initial samples
  4. Inspect samples and complete required corrections
  5. Run the approved low-volume quantity
  6. Complete final inspection, packing, and delivery

Production Capability & Materials

SHIYUNJIA operates 10 injection molding machines with clamping forces from 120T to 450T. Supported processes include single-color molding, 2K molding, insert molding, overmolding, and product assembly, subject to project review.

ABS · PP · PE · PC · PC/ABS · PA · POM · PET · PMMA · TPE · TPU

Specific grades and process feasibility are confirmed according to the part, mold, appearance, performance, quantity, and trial objectives.

Quality Checks & Project Records

Parts are checked against the approved drawings or samples, including appearance, critical dimensions, assembly, material, color, packing, and other agreed requirements.

According to the project scope, records may include dimensional inspection reports, material certificates, mold-trial videos, first-article samples, trial issue records, and packing lists.

From Trial to Volume Production

After the trial run is approved, the project can continue to volume production at SHIYUNJIA. Before scale-up, the approved sample or written acceptance standard, material, process, inspection method, packing, quantity, and delivery requirements are reconfirmed.
