Choose the Right Cooperation Model

The cooperation model depends on the product data, design responsibility, and manufacturing scope confirmed for the project.

OEM: Build to Customer Data

The customer provides drawings, specifications, brand requirements, and acceptance criteria that the customer owns or is authorized to use. SHIYUNJIA manufactures within the confirmed written scope.

ODM: Develop from an Initial Requirement

The project may begin with an idea, sketch, authorized physical sample, 2D drawing, or 3D data. Support can include product appearance, plastic structure, 3D modeling, 2D engineering drawings, DFM, mold-flow analysis, tooling, and production.

What We Can Support

Product appearance and plastic-structure design
3D modeling, design changes, and 2D engineering drawings
DFM review and mold-flow analysis according to project needs
Injection mold design, manufacturing, trials, and sample approval
Injection molding, low-volume runs, and volume production
Assembly, finishing, labeling, packing, and shipment support

Project Workflow

  1. Review the customer input, intended application, authorization, quantity, quality, and delivery requirements.
  2. Confirm whether the project follows an OEM or ODM cooperation model and define the written scope.
  3. Complete the agreed appearance, structure, engineering, or manufacturability work.
  4. Submit drawings, reports, and recommendations for customer review and written approval.
  5. Proceed with the approved mold design, manufacturing, trial, and sample-confirmation stages.
  6. Arrange the confirmed production, secondary operations, inspection, packing, and delivery.

Design & Engineering Deliverables

According to the confirmed project scope, deliverables may include revised 3D data, 2D engineering drawings, DFM reports, and mold-flow analysis reports. Design revisions and review rounds are agreed for each project.

SHIYUNJIA prefers to continue approved projects through tooling and production in-house. Design-only support or another cooperation arrangement can be evaluated according to the project.

Secondary Operations

Product assembly, silk-screen or pad printing, spray finishing, laser marking, custom packing, and labeling can be provided or coordinated according to technical feasibility, quality requirements, quantity, and the confirmed commercial scope.

Information Required

Please provide the available idea, sketch, authorized sample, 2D drawing, or 3D data together with the intended function, material, appearance, assembly, estimated quantity, target market, inspection, packing, labeling, and delivery requirements.

Authorization, Ownership & Approval

The customer must own or be authorized to use all drawings, samples, trademarks, and technical information provided. Sample-based measurement or design support begins only after the required authorization is confirmed.

Ownership and permitted use of new designs, molds, and technical data are defined by the written agreement. Design changes, tooling, and production proceed only after written customer approval.

Electronics, PCB development, firmware, software, and packaging design are not included. Product compliance, certification, and third-party testing responsibilities are confirmed for each project.
