Quantity & Production Review

Quantity is reviewed according to the product, mold, material, process, quality, and delivery requirements.

Choose the Supply Route for Your Caps and Closures

Do you need an injection mold for your own molding plant, or finished plastic closure components produced in China? Specify the supply route before comparing quotations. A tooling quotation and a price for molded components cover different work.

Export Injection Molds

For production at your facility, include the receiving machine information, mold interfaces, preferred components, trial requirements, agreed spare parts and handover documents in the review. See our injection mold manufacturing service for the tooling workflow and overseas support scope.

Molded Closure Components

For production at SHIYUNJIA, provide the material grade, color, order quantity, appearance criteria, assembly scope and packing requirements. Review our custom plastic injection molding service. Component scope and production conditions are confirmed for each project.

Agree on Closure Fit and Sample Approval Before Tooling

A cap drawing alone may not define how the complete package must work. Supply the matching bottle or container drawing and representative samples where available. Identify which revision controls the thread, snap-fit, sealing surface and other mating features.

  • Screw caps: define the mating neck finish, thread engagement, sealing arrangement and required opening or closing behavior.
  • Flip-top closures: identify the material grade, hinge function, lid alignment, closing features and acceptable gate or parting-line marks.
  • Inner plugs and dispensing parts: confirm insertion, retention, dispensing and assembly requirements against the mating components.
  • Multi-cavity molds: agree how samples will be identified by cavity and checked with mating parts. Define the sample quantity and acceptance method before the trial.

If leakage, torque, repeated opening or another functional test is required, specify the test conditions and acceptance limits. Appearance approval does not replace functional approval. Our mold trial and sample approval process explains how trial records, corrections and customer approval are coordinated.

Packaging Closure Project Questions

Can I request a mold without ordering production parts?

Export molds and molds retained at SHIYUNJIA for injection molding are both reviewed under our tooling service. Confirm the production location, trial plan, ownership and delivery requirements in your inquiry.

What determines quantity and tooling lead time?

The part design, material, mold construction, cavity plan, trial requirements and production scope affect the proposal. Quantity and schedule are confirmed after review; there is no single commitment that fits every closure project.

What should I prepare for a comparable quotation?

Send the latest part and mating-container data, specified material, expected quantity, cosmetic and functional criteria, and target schedule. Use our injection mold quotation checklist to record the tooling, sample and commercial scope before comparing suppliers.
